About ICDL

ICDL provides certifications in a wide range of skills and skill levels that are relevant to a candidate’s job role or career ambitions. Delmon Academy is an ICDL Approved Training & Testing Centre, so you can train and sit your tests in one place.

Each module you pass is added to your ICDL profile — a permanent record of the digital skills you have certified.

ICDL Base Profile

ICDL Base Profile (previously ICDL Start) is a certification at digital literacy level. It covers four modules of key ICT skills that everyone needs, whatever their role. These skills make everyday tasks easier and are the foundation for more specialised skills.

Select a module to see what it covers.

ICDL Standard Profile

ICDL Standard Profile keeps the familiar seven-module structure with more flexibility: the four Base modules plus three Standard modules that you choose to match your job and career path. It is the recommended certification for a higher level of digital competence.

ICDL Expert Profile

ICDL Expert Profile shows that you are a power user of common office applications, able to carry out advanced functions and produce professional documents. You achieve it by completing three of the four Advanced modules:

  • Advanced Presentation
  • Advanced Databases
  • Advanced Spreadsheets
  • Advanced Word Processing

Ask the admissions office for the Advanced module syllabi.
